Our son Jeb and his family decided to come up to the UP to spend some time with us. They wanted to go canoeing or such on the way up to break up the trip. They decided that a raft trip down the Sturgeon River near Indian River would be ideal due to the young ages of the children. They invited us to come along, so we drove the hour and a half down to meet them. The weather was not the greatest (no sunshine) but we were happy it didn't rain. We all had a good time.
